On today’s show, we have on special guest Adeel Mulla. Adeel is the lawyer for UFCW Local 401, the union that represents the workers at the Cargill meat packing plant where they have experienced a large COVID-19 outbreak. Adeel gives us an overview of how the situation playing out, the stress the outbreak is having on Cargill factory workers, and offers his thoughts on how it can best be resolved. We also discuss the larger issue of access to justice and the challenges facing the workers of Cargill, as well as ways to improve the legal profession.
